Size: 1.7 cm crown

According to William Ausich, this specimen resembles Macrostylocrinus striatus except for the complete lack of calyx ornamentation and a globular rather than conical calyx. Comparison with a similar specimen (as well as specimens of more typical M. striatus) in the collection of Bob Schacht makes it clear that this crinoid also possesses proportionately much shorter arms in addition to the globular, unornamented calyx.
